There are so many beautiful places in the world to visit for your honeymoon. Here are just a few of the places that are often chosen as honeymoon destinations along with their weather for different months of the year:

Honeymoon Dos

If you are planning a surpirse honeymoon for your new husband/wife remember to tell them what clothes to pack and make sure their passport hasn't run out.

If you have your heart set on a particular destinatin make sure you find out what the weather will be like - you dont want to turn up in the monsoon season.

If you are staying in a hotel which offers spa treatments, the best thing to do would be to pre-book to avoid disappointment when you arrive.

Smaller hotels are more likely to offer special honeymoon treatment.

Honeymoon Don'ts

Try not to get a honeymoon quote too far in advance - hotels and flight rates are normally released 11 months in advance.

Try to avoid booking your honeymoon straight after the wedding. Leave a couple of days - as you will then have some time to relax and prepare for your honeymoon.

Try not to organise a super hectic holiday - you will no doubt be exhausted after your big day and will just want to relax.

Destination Ideas

Antigua
Best time to travel is between November and July
Antigua is not known to be as lively as some of its neighbouring islands, but Antigua is well know for having fabulous beaches where you can relax and enjoy.

Australia
Best time to travel is between October and March
Australia has it all from glorious beaches to cosmopolitan cities. You may want to go for longer than a fortnight to be able to catch a glimpse of this wonderful country.

Barbados
Best time to travel is November to July
This is a perfect choice for those new to the caribbeans as it is large enough to encompass a good mix of tranquility and night life. Fancy spying on the celebs?? then head to Barbados' west coast.

Italy
Best time to travel April to October (beware of peak season in the summer months)
Visit the romantic city of Sorrento and take a boat trip to the islands of Capri and Ischia to see how the other half live.

Las Vegas
It is in the dessert so anytime is a good time to travel
If glitz is your thing then head off to Las Vegas, sampling the highlife and enjoy the whole experience. Whilst you are in the neighbourhood, why not have a tour around Elvis' house.

Maldives
Best time to travel is November to March
If sun, sea and sand is all you can ever dream of then jet off to the breathtaking islands of the Maldives. Book yourself into a glorious water bungalow and watch the tropical fish swim beneath your feet.
